🎪 About the Project

Kulturzentrum Schlachthof e.V. is a self-managed cultural hub that brings together artists, youth, and communities through theatre, music, photography, and social dialogue.

From climate change festivals 🌱 to live concerts, workshops, and exhibitions, the centre hosts hundreds of creative activities each year — and as a volunteer, you’ll be part of it all!

🎬 Your Role as a Volunteer

As part of the Schlachthof volunteer team, you’ll:
🎭 Assist creative workshops (music, theatre, media, art).
📸 Capture cultural events through photography & videography.
💻 Manage the organization’s Instagram channel and promote activities.
🎶 Support music and band camps for young artists.
🌍 Contribute to community events and festivals.
💬 Share stories about youth participation and inclusion.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Allowance

🏠 You’ll stay in your own room in a shared flat with four other ESC volunteers in Bremen.
🍽️ Receive 210 € monthly pocket money + 312 € living expenses.
🚆 Travel costs reimbursed (approx. 211–395 € depending on distance).
🌍 Health insurance and mentorship support included.

Bremen is a lively, multicultural city in northern Germany — full of cafés, music, and creative energy. 🎶🌆
