📖 Project Description

The Study Session “Local Youth Councils as Advocates for Democracy” brings together 20 young people from local youth councils across Europe to boost youth participation, strengthen advocacy skills, and enhance intercultural dialogue.

Through a dynamic programme of non-formal education, participatory methods, and intercultural learning, participants will:

• 📢 Promote local youth councils as spaces for inclusive participation
• 🗳️ Build capacity in youth policy and advocacy
• 📚 Explore practical tools like the Quality Charter on Participatory and Inclusive Local Youth Councils, its User Guide and Toolkit
• 🌍 Foster networking between local youth councils across Europe
• 🤝 Promote intercultural understanding and European unity

Organised by DYPALL Network with the support of the Council of Europe’s Youth Department, this activity is designed for youth leaders and youth policy advocates ready to create change in their communities.

💰 Costs & Travel Reimbursement

• Participation Fee: €50
• Travel Costs: Fully reimbursed according to Council of Europe rules after approval and submission of original tickets
• Tickets can only be purchased after confirmation from organisers
