📖 Project Description
Finding Rhythm Together (FIRTO) invites youth workers, trainers, and facilitators into an immersive 6-day journey of group drumming, rhythm-based facilitation, movement, and embodied learning. Taking place on the scenic, car-free island of Isegran in the heart of Fredrikstad, Norway, the training blends artistic practice, non-formal education, and intercultural experience to foster inclusion, trust, and participation.
Through accessible percussion instruments and movement exercises, participants will:
- Facilitate inclusive group processes 🎶
- Strengthen belonging and presence through embodied methods
- Build safe and engaging spaces for youth
- Gain rhythm-based facilitation skills rooted in non-verbal communication
- Explore co-creation, trust, and group attunement
🧑🤝🧑 Target Group
Youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, project managers, volunteering mentors, and youth coaches from the listed eligible countries who want to deepen their facilitation skills and use artistic tools for inclusion.
