📝 Description
Zavod Bob, an NGO in Ljubljana, runs two youth centers: YC ULCA, focused on urban culture, and YC Bob, emphasizing social and creative activities. Volunteers will engage in youth work, supporting young people (15-29) in their personal and social development through artistic activities like DIY, dance, graffiti, theater, and DJ sessions, or social activities like board games and baking. The role includes street-based youth work to build trusting relationships with vulnerable youth in public spaces, encouraging their participation and active citizenship.
Volunteers will live in a fully equipped, shared apartment with private rooms, located 3.2 km from the youth centers, with access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Accommodation, food, transport (personal bike and public transport card), and pocket money (approx. €360/month) are provided. The first two weeks are “orientational” to explore Zavod Bob’s activities, followed by ongoing support and training.
Volunteers will participate in a non-formal Slovenian language course, ESC on-arrival and mid-term training (5 days each) organized by the Slovenian National Agency, and a final project evaluation. International training hosted by Zavod Bob is also available based on interest, offering opportunities to develop skills and contribute to youth projects.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, reliable, community-oriented, self-initiated, and inclusive.
• Social and political awareness.
• Comfortable with afternoon volunteering and coexisting in a shared flat.
• Fluent in English; a driving license is an advantage.
• Expected to fully engage in youth center activities, support youth workers, and share ideas for workshops or projects.
