🙏 Project Description
Join VIAC—our Christian Catholic youth NGO—for a 12-month ESC volunteering adventure starting September 2025! Be part of a supportive faith community, share Christian values with local teens, and help run our youth centre and camps.
📋 What You’ll Do
- 🤝 Youth Centre Activities: Assist in daily programmes, group discussions, and community gatherings
- 🎪 Camp Support: Lead and facilitate summer camps and holiday activities for young people
- 📝 Workshop Design: Create and run creative, faith-based workshops on art, sport, and personal growth
- 🍲 Meals & Logistics: Help prepare meals, manage logistics, and ensure a welcoming environment
- 🚆 Community Outreach: Visit schools to spread awareness of ESC & Erasmus+
🏠 Accommodation & Living
- 🛏️ Stay: Shared flat in Trstená or Tvrdošín (2–3 volunteers per apartment)
- 💶 Allowances: Monthly pocket money + food stipend
- 🚆 Travel: Reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance bands
🎓 Training & Support
- 📚 Onboarding: In-house training by VIAC team
- 🤝 ESC Seminars: On-arrival & mid-term training organized by the Slovak National Agency
- 🌱 Personal Growth: Develop leadership, intercultural, and pastoral skills
