Ready to make a difference in Sicily, Italy? 🌍✨ Istituto Walden, a social cooperative, invites volunteers aged 23–30 for a 6-month ESC journey in Menfi to support young boys (14–18) in a rehabilitation shelter. Share their daily life, foster social inclusion, and create meaningful experiences in a vibrant community! 🚀🌟

📝 What Will You Do?
🎯 Support afterschool activities (homework, foreign language lessons)
🎨 Lead fun workshops (cooking, theater, music)
🌐 Facilitate language exchange and cultural activities
🎉 Organize celebrations for special occasions
🍽️ Help with daily tasks (meal prep, keeping spaces clean)
🏖️ Accompany boys on trips to explore Menfi and beyond

🏠 Where Will You Stay?
📍 Shared flat in Menfi with double bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms
🍽️ €6/day pocket money + €100/month food allowance
⏰ 35 hours/week, 2 consecutive days off (not weekends)
🌴 2 extra free days/month (non-overlapping with other volunteers)
✈️ Travel expenses reimbursed per ESC guidelines

🧠 What Support Will You Get?
📚 On-Arrival training with Associazione Joint and Italian National Agency
🗣️ Online Italian language course
🧑‍🏫 Specific training for working with at-risk youth
🎯 Mid-term and final evaluations for personal growth

👤 Who Can Apply?
🙋 Aged 23–30, available June–December 2025
💬 Experienced in social work or psychology (preferred)
🌟 Patient, creative, and respectful of rules
🗣️ Communicative, proactive, and open-minded
🇮🇹 Willing to learn Italian or has basic knowledge
📝 CV and motivation letter in English required
