NATO’s annual internship programme gives students and recent graduates from NATO member countries the chance to:

• Gain real-world experience in international relations, defense, security policy, and communications.
• Work directly with NATO divisions on current and pressing global issues.
• Network with international experts and policy-makers.

• September 2025
• March 2026
  🕐 Duration: 6 to 8 months

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

• Be 21 years or older at the start of the internship
• Be a citizen of a NATO member country
• Have at least 2 years of university studies completed, and:
  • Be currently enrolled in the third year or higher, OR
  • Have obtained their highest degree less than 1 year ago
• Have proficiency in English or French (knowledge of both is an asset)
• Must have health insurance coverage and complete registration with Belgian authorities
• Must obtain security clearance from national authorities
