Join the “Kita SieKids Villa Pusteblume,” a German-French bilingual day care center in Karlsruhe, Germany, and become a part of the wonderful world of children aged 0-3 years. This ESC volunteer opportunity is exclusively for EU applicants who are passionate about educational work and working with little ones.
📅 Activity Dates: February 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024
👧🏼 Activity Description:
As a volunteer, you’ll be a valuable support to educators, engaging in various activities like playing, art, sports, experiments, and more. Your tasks will include helping tidy up after meals and integrating into a multilingual professional environment. You’ll enjoy an enriching experience contributing to the well-being and development of the children.
🏡 Accommodation, Food, and Transport:
- Shared flat with 2 other ESC volunteers.
- Your room, shared kitchen, yard, 2 bathrooms, and living room.
- Approx. 160€ pocket money and 288€ for food monthly.
- Free public transport card for the entire region during the project.
🎓 Training During the Activity:
- Seminars organized by the National Agency for ESC volunteers.
- Opportunities for youth leader courses, German language training, first aid, climbing, and lifeguard courses.
👤 Participant Profile:
- At least 18 years old.
- Interest and some experience in working with children aged 0-3.
- Knowledge of English and possibly French.
- Basic skills in German (helpful but not mandatory).
- Accredited sending organization required.
- Open to exploring Germany and its culture in an international environment.
