ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Passionate about working with children? Join us this October in Snagov, Romania, and play a crucial role in establishing an after-school program for local kids. Dive into organizing non-formal activities like English lessons, arts and crafts, and theatre. Contribute to shaping an Online Youth Center, crafting captivating online lessons, articles, and videos on volunteering, cultural diversity, and more. Your fresh ideas and creativity will shape the curriculum, offering unforgettable experiences that will leave a lasting impact on local youth.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

• 🚗 Transport cost reimbursement (to and from Romania) based on distance and ESC guidelines
• 💸 Pocket and food money per ESC guidelines
• 🏠 Shared accommodation with fellow volunteers
• 🌐 Accommodation with easy access to public transportation, shops, and entertainment facilities
• 🩹 Medical insurance during the volunteering period

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

• 🎓 On Arrival Training organized by the National Agency in Romania
• 🛠 Short workshops and training on various topics to support activity implementation
• 🗣 All activities use non-formal education methods
• 🇷🇴 Romanian language lessons
• 🤝 Mentor support for learning and personal development

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

• 🎓 Age: 18 – 30 years
• 🎓 Completed secondary school or equivalent
• 🌟 Unemployed at the time of selection
• 🌐 Responsible, communicative, friendly, and positive attitude
• 🤝 Interest in the project’s topic
• 🎨 Able to prepare and lead an activity
• 🚀 Contribute to the development of the A4ACTION Youth Centre
• 🌍 National of any EU state
• 🇬🇧 Good knowledge of English
• 💪 Motivated individuals ready to be involved in the local community
