Seventeen fully funded European Solidarity Corps placements are open right now across 12 countries, and they reach from West Africa to Latin America. From an agricultural school in the south of France to a youth centre on a Baltic island, this is one of the widest sets of placements we have gathered in a single post.
Every one of these seventeen placements is a European Solidarity Corps opportunity, which means the funding is real: travel within the usual distance bands, accommodation, food, local transport, insurance, pocket money, a mentor and language support are all covered, for volunteers aged 18 to 30. Two placements are limited to residents of a specific country, and those are flagged below. Six are open on a rolling basis and will close as soon as enough good applications arrive, while the rest run from late July into late August.

Spend nine months supporting early childhood education in one of Poland's most vibrant cities. As part of a kindergarten team you support professional educators in their daily work: assisting during educational and creative activities, helping organise games, songs, arts and crafts and outdoor play, supporting children in daily routines like meals, dressing and hygiene, sharing your culture and language through interactive activities, and contributing to a warm, friendly and inclusive environment. Join a caring community founded on the idea that what one person cannot achieve alone, we can achieve together. As a non profit association it takes on the intergenerational contract in a village near Freiburg, performing tasks once carried out by extended families. At its centre are a day care centre for sixteen people and a self managed shared home for eleven people needing nursing or care across all care levels, with 24 hour support, alongside home based support for elderly villagers. As a volunteer you help support elderly and disabled people and those at risk of exclusion, developing your own activities within the team. Spend a one year ESC experience combining culture, community work and humanitarian action. The host runs two cultural centres and a humanitarian support centre, and the project's main focus is communication and social media: you create content, develop the online presence, reach new audiences and share stories about the organisation's activities. Become an integral part of campus life at a private agricultural school in the south of France that welcomes students in agricultural, general and vocational education and is strongly committed to European openness and intercultural exchange. Support a Ugandan primary school for children with physical disabilities, founded by parents of children with cerebral palsy to educate, rehabilitate and equip learners for self reliance. The school follows the national curriculum and offers sports, music, dance, drama and education tours, plus vocational training in tailoring, screen printing, crafts, tie and dye and basic computer skills. It serves around a hundred pupils aged 6 to 18 with disabilities like cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida and polio. The centre offers holistic help for migrants, from an information point and Polish language and adaptation courses to legal and psychological support and activities for kids. You will support classes, organise activities at recess and help run special events, and beyond the school you can collaborate with the library, sports activities and local associations depending on your interests. Volunteer at a youth centre in a small village on a Baltic island, open to young people aged 7 to 26 who come to socialise through games like pool, table football, board games and video games, as well as creative projects. Built on the principle of open youth work, it offers young people voluntary ways to take part and get involved in society. You will run workshops, help on projects, assist the youth workers with daily activities, work in the open youth space, and help plan and organise events at the centre and in schools.
