Description
Il volontariato si svolgerà nel centro giovanile di Orissaare, piccolo borgo dell'isola Saarema. Il centro è aperto a giovani di età compresa tra i 7 e i 26 anni, a cui viene data la possibilità di socializzare con i coetanei attraverso giochi (biliardo, calcio balilla, vari giochi da tavolo e videogiochidi) così come attraverso la realizzazione di progetti creativi. Il centro, infatti, si basa sul principio del lavoro giovanile aperto: ai giovani vengono offerte diverse opportunità di partecipazione su base volontaria, al fine di favorire il loro coinvolgimento nella società e la loro integrazione nella vita sociale. Come volontario, sarai chiamato a condurre workshops; collaborare ai progetti; assistere gli animatori giovanili nelle attività quotidiane; lavorare nell’area aperta dedicata alle attività giovanili del centro giovanili e partecipare e contribuire alla pianificazione e all’organizzazione di diversi eventi e attività e nel centro giovanile e nelle scuole.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Ti verrà fornito un alloggio adeguato, vicino al luogo di svolgimento del volontariato: un ostello a 300 metri dal centro giovanile, arredato con le attrezzature di base. La sistemazione può essere singola o condivisa a seconda della disponibilità, con cucina e bagno in comune. Riceverai un contributo di 5 euro al giorno per le spese personali e altri 200 euro al mese per il vitto. Il viaggio dall'Italia all'Estonia e ritorno sarà completamente rimborsato. Per gli spostamenti, ti verrà fornita una bicicletta.
Training during the activity
Parteciperai a 3 sessioni di formazione ufficiali: una prima della partenza dall'Italia, una seconda qualche settimana dopo il tuo arrivo in Estonia e una terza verso la fine del volontariato. Inoltre, avrai l'opportunità di partecipare alle attività organizzate fuori dal centro giovanile: potrai partecipare a lezioni di canto corale, danza popolare, strumenti musicali o ad allenamenti in palestra. In sintesi, questo volontariato sarà fonte di grande crescita personale, e tutto questo mentre ti farai tanti nuovi amici, anche grazie alle attività complementari organizzate dal Centro.
Participant profile
Cerchiamo volontari con una predisposizione al lavoro con i giovani. Sono richieste buone capacità comunicative e facilità nell'avviare conversazioni, mentalità aperta e flessibilità, nonché predisposizione al lavoro di squadra. Altre caratteristiche molto importanti sono la motivazione personale e lo spirito d'iniziativa: fondamentali non solo per lavorare a stretto contatto con i giovani, ma anche per organizzare eventi per e con loro. Inoltre, le competenze digitali (social media, blog) saranno molto importanti per l'accoglienza dei ragazzi e per la promozione degli eventi organizzati dal centro. Un buon livello di inglese è essenziale, mentre la conoscenza del russo e del tedesco rappresenta un grande vantaggio.
