PiGreco โ Semi di Intercultura APS and Associazione Manitese are offering an ESC volunteering placement in Finale Emilia, Italy โ a hands-on, community-rooted experience for young people interested in social inclusion, sustainability, and intercultural living.

Manitese Finale Emilia is a community organisation working at the intersection of social inclusion, sustainability, and local community development. Volunteers contribute across two main areas โ community projects and events, and a social garden with animal care โ spending their time both outdoors in nature and alongside the local community in creative and educational settings.

๐ What You’ll Do
๐ช Community Projects and Events
๐ Support the organisation of public events, creative workshops, and awareness-raising activities for schools and the local community
๐ง Help with logistics and preparation of materials
๐ฑ Social Garden and Animal Care
๐ฅ Help in the community garden โ learning agroecology techniques
๐พ Assist with animal care
๐ณ Create social opportunities for disadvantaged people through outdoor activities
๐ Accommodation
๐ก Shared, fully equipped house in Finale Emilia โ single or double room, shared bathroom, kitchen, and communal areas
๐ถ Wi-Fi available
๐ช Located in the town centre with supermarkets and amenities nearby
๐ฒ Bicycles provided to travel to the association’s headquarters (approximately 15 minutes by cycle path)
๐ณ Volunteers prepare their own meals โ monthly food allowance provided. Volunteers are also responsible for cleaning and waste disposal.

Manitese is looking for motivated and open-minded young people aged 18โ30 who are:
๐ Eager to engage with solidarity, sustainability, and community living
๐จ Creative, sociable, and proactive
โค๏ธ Genuinely interested in social inclusion, reuse, circular economy, and environmental issues
๐ฃ๏ธ Have basic English or Italian language skills
๐ค Interested in teamwork, intercultural dialogue, and non-formal education
