Blind tests. Language clubs. Christmas decoration workshops. Thematic weeks on health, equality, and European countries. Football tournaments. And a school cafeteria that becomes the social hub of a 1,400-student campus. Bureau Information Jeunesse de Brest is looking for 2 ESC volunteers to join Lycรฉe Jules Lesven in France โ a placement built around creativity, initiative, and genuine connection with young people.
๐ซ About the Project
Jules Lesven is a general, technological, and professional high school located on a shared campus with two other schools in France. The volunteers will be based in the school cafeteria โ managing it alongside students, organising events and activities, and driving the social and cultural life of the school community throughout the year. The project is coordinated by Bij de Brest.
๐ฏ The Role
This is not a teaching role. Volunteers lead workshops and class presentations from time to time, but their main work is animation, event organisation, and project creation. The heart of the placement is the volunteers’ own ideas โ they are expected to propose and build their own projects from scratch.
