๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ต ESC Volunteering in Nepal ๐Ÿ“š Early Childhood and Teacher Development Volunteer with ViN in Okhaldhunga ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

A rural Himalayan district. Play-based learning. Teachers who want to make their classrooms more interactive. And a volunteer team working alongside local staff and community members in one of the most genuinely remote and meaningful ESC placements available. KERIC is offering an ESC Humanitarian Aid Volunteering opportunity with ViN (Volunteer in Nepal) in Okhaldhunga, Nepal โ€” for young people aged 18โ€“35 who want to support early childhood development and teacher training in a real rural community setting.

๐Ÿซ About the Project

ViN works in Okhaldhunga, a rural Himalayan district of Nepal, supporting Early Childhood Development (ECD) and teacher development in local schools and community learning centres. Volunteers work alongside ViN staff, local buddies, and teachers โ€” they do not replace staff or work alone. This is a two-way learning experience built on teamwork, safeguarding, and mutual respect.

๐ŸŽฏ The Role

You’ll be supporting existing activities already in place โ€” contributing to play-based learning, helping teachers improve their classroom methods, preparing low-cost materials, and joining teacher reflection meetings. The work is practical, hands-on, and grounded in the local community.
