What stories have shaped you โ€” and how do you share them with someone whose world looks nothing like yours? Moving Stories: From Alienation to Connection is an Erasmus+ training course bringing 24 youth workers, young leaders, and educators from 9 countries to Aparan, Armenia, to explore exactly that. Through storytelling, creative writing, body movement, and theatre, participants develop a toolkit for bridging gaps, building cultural understanding, and creating genuine inclusion.

๐ŸŽฏ About the Project

This international training course is organised by partners from Germany, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Georgia, and Armenia. It takes place at Altera Lab in Aparan, Armenia โ€” a creative and educational space that sets the tone for the kind of learning this programme offers.

The goal is clear: empower educational professionals with a robust toolkit of creative and artistic methods โ€” so they can help young people recognise the stories that build them, and bond through those stories with others across cultures, backgrounds, and borders.

๐Ÿ“‹ What You’ll Work With

๐Ÿ“ Creative writing โ€” as a tool for self-expression and intercultural understanding

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Storytelling โ€” learning to recognise, shape, and share the narratives that define us

๐ŸŒ Non-formal education methods โ€” practical tools you can immediately integrate into your youth work

๐Ÿ‘ค Who Should Apply
