“The body is not an object to be fixed, but a process to be experienced.” โ Thomas Hanna
Some training courses fill your notebook. Embodied Unity fills something else. This is an Erasmus+ training course in the foothills of the Izera Mountains in south-west Poland, built around a genuinely different premise: that real learning โ for youth workers and for the people they work with โ starts in the body, not the head.
๐ฑ About Embodied Unity
Embodied Unity is an international training course offering a holistic, body-based approach to personal development, community building, and youth work. Through embodiment, mindfulness, musical improvisation, and relational practices, participants reconnect with themselves and each other โ developing emotional intelligence, grounding, and the capacity to create safe, inclusive spaces for the young people they work with.
The approach is experiential. Learning happens through doing โ through movement, breath, sound, and presence โ not through slides or lectures. The venue, the programme, and the sobriety policy (no alcohol or drugs throughout the project) are all chosen with the same intention: to create the conditions for something real.
