๐ Overview of the Experience
This project is about bringing art back to life ๐จ
In Port-de-Bouc ๐ซ๐ท, youโll work directly on restoring iron sculptures created by a local artist, transforming them from worn pieces into public artworks ready to be seen again.
Itโs hands-on, creative and tangible โ you actually see the result of your work at the end.
๐ ๏ธ What Youโll Be Doing
๐งฝ Clean and restore iron sculptures (brushing, varnishing, finishing)
๐จ Learn practical techniques related to art restoration
๐ฟ Help set up an exhibition space for the artworks
๐ค Work in an international team on a shared creative goal
๐ Contribute to preserving local cultural heritage
Port-de-Bouc ๐ซ๐ท is a coastal town with a strong industrial and artistic identity, where public art plays an important role in community life.
Instead of creating something from scratch, youโll be working on preserving what already exists โ giving historical artworks a second life and making them accessible again. If you’re looking into how to join ESC cultural heritage projects or where to volunteer in art restoration in Europe, this type of experience connects creativity with preservation.
