🌍 About the Project

Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg, a member of Fairtrade International, aims to raise awareness about social and economic conditions of producers in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. This project, “Fairtrade, the New Normal”, includes three key activity areas:

🌟 Key Activities:

1. Pedagogical Projects:
   • Lead interactive workshops for children and youth in schools, day-care centers, and youth associations.
2. Awareness Campaigns:
   • Assist in campaigns, fairs, and markets.
   • Explain Fairtrade principles to people of all ages.
   • Help organize press conferences and cultural projects.
3. Office-Based Activities:
   • Draft and update newsletters and manage social media (Facebook, Instagram).
   • Support daily office tasks related to Fairtrade initiatives.

🛋 Accommodation, Food, and Transport

🏠 Accommodation:

• Free room in a shared living community near a train station for easy access to the office.

🍴 Food Allowance:

• 300€ per month, paid directly to your bank account, no receipts required.

🚇 Transport:

• Public transport is free in Luxembourg.
• Travel to Luxembourg is prepaid and reimbursed by the hosting organization.

📚 Training and Support

• Mentorship: Regular meetings with the director, team, and mentor/tutor to ensure personal and project well-being.
• In-House Training: Provided by the director and office staff for all new projects.
• Volunteers start projects in teams and are supported throughout.

👥 Participant Profile

We’re looking for motivated and independent individuals who:

• Are open-minded and eager to work in a multilingual environment.
• Have a basic interest in fair trade and North-South relations.
• Are ready to learn new skills and gain experience in volunteering.
• French knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Aged 18-30 years, with encouragement for candidates 25+ years to apply.
