📝 What Is the Project About?
Dive into a life-changing experience with IASIS, working alongside individuals facing mental health challenges and other vulnerable groups:
🌟 Key Activities Include:
- Training on clothing reuse, circular economy, and supporting vulnerable populations.
- Collaborating with vulnerable individuals in awareness and educational initiatives.
- Participating in the inspiring “Celebrate Love” fashion show featuring recycled garments and highlighting stories of marginalized individuals.
This project blends mental health advocacy, social inclusion, and environmental awareness, empowering volunteers to create a lasting impact.
🛋 Accommodation, Food, and Transport
🏠 Accommodation:
- Stay in a spacious, centrally located facility in Marathon, just a 3-minute walk from Marathon Beach.
- Formerly a hotel, the building features 15 double rooms with private bathrooms and balconies.
- Enjoy shared spaces, including a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a 3,000 sqm courtyard for outdoor activities.
📚 Training and Support
💡 Workshops and sessions on:
- Mental health and psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Environmental sustainability and clothing management systems.
- Collaboration with vulnerable groups to promote awareness and build a Zero Waste future.
Volunteers will gain project management, creative collaboration, and community engagement skills.
👥 Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals (18–30 years old) who are:
- Eager to learn or already skilled in non-formal learning activities.
- Passionate about creating social interventions and learning initiatives.
- Ready to take initiative and promote social and ecological awareness.
- Excited to share their journey through social and visual media channels.
Eligibility: Must be a legal resident of Spain, Italy, or France, and not require a visa for Greece.
