Make a meaningful impact in the Dutch countryside! ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑโœจ Hamstermieden Educational Farm is looking for a dedicated volunteer to support children with behavioral challenges through nature-based education. You will work side-by-side with the kids, taking care of animals, harvesting organic vegetables, and organizing social activities. If you love rural life, enjoy working with children, and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty on a beautiful eco-farm, this 12-month mission is your chance to shine! ๐Ÿš€๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿ‘

๐ŸŒ Did You Know? Friesland is a unique province in the Netherlands with its own official language (West Frisian) and a world-famous history of speed skating and sailing! โ›ธ๏ธโ›ต

Farm & Educational Roles

๐Ÿพ Animal Care: Feeding and looking after the farm animals together with the children.
๐Ÿฅฆ Organic Gardening: Planting, maintaining, and harvesting fruits and vegetables in the eco-garden.
๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ Social Support: Creating simple educational activities to help children reintegrate into the school system.
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Maintenance: Assisting with general farm upkeep and manual tasks to keep the facility running.

Accommodation & Benefits

๐Ÿ  Housing: Private bedroom in a small chalet on the farm, sharing common areas with one other volunteer.
๐Ÿšฒ Transport: A bicycle is provided for exploring the scenic area; bus connections to Leeuwarden and Groningen are nearby.
๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Language Learning: Dutch classes are provided every Wednesday morning by a professional teacher!
๐Ÿ’ฐ Pocket Money & Food: Monthly allowance provided for personal expenses and food budget.
