Are you ready to embark on a life-changing journey in the vibrant city of Poznań? 🇵🇱✨ Centrum Inicjatyw Międzykulturowych Horyzonty is looking for motivated individuals to join their “Broaden Our Horizons” project! This long-term European Solidarity Corps initiative offers a unique opportunity to work in non-formal education, cultural management, and digital communication. Whether you want to teach children, organize massive cultural events, or manage social media campaigns, Poznań is the place to be. Step out of your comfort zone, share your culture, and become a key player in a transcultural, inclusive community! 🚀🌟🌍

🌍 Did You Know? Poznań is famous for its mechanical goats that headbutt each other 12 times every day at noon on the Town Hall clock! It’s one of Poland’s oldest and most charismatic cities. 🐐🇵🇱

Available Volunteer Roles

🏫 Educational Work (2 Positions): Lead non-formal education activities, language classes for all ages, and workshops on human rights and ecology. Share your home culture with the local community!

📱 Social Media & Office (2 Positions): Manage digital communication, create engaging content, and assist in the daily administrative management of international projects.

🎭 Community & Culture (2 Positions): Co-create cultural, artistic, and social events in Poznań. Network with local artists and activists while documenting the city’s vibrant life.

What Will You Learn?

💡 Methodology: Gain deep knowledge of non-formal education tools and transcultural work approaches.

📈 Project Management: Learn how to organize events from the initial idea to the final documentation and promotion.

🤝 Soft Skills: Enhance your intercultural communication, adaptability, and leadership abilities in a diverse team.

🛡️ Support: You will have access to a mentor, specialized training, and psychological support if needed.

🌍 Did You Know? The project focuses heavily on “Anti-Discrimination” and “Diversity,” ensuring that all activities promote a peaceful, inclusive, and collaborative society. 🕊️🤝

Accommodation & Financial Support

🏠 Housing: Stay in the “Jurand” student residence in the heart of Poznań! You will have an individual room with Wi-Fi, a fridge, and shared kitchen/bathroom facilities.

💶 Monthly Allowance: Receive 300 EUR per month for pocket money and food.

🚌 Transport: Local transport cards are provided for Poznań’s excellent public transport system. Travel to/from Poland is reimbursed within ESC limits.

Participant Profile

🌟 Motivation: High energy and a strong desire to learn about youth work, culture, or digital media.

🗣️ Language: Good communication skills in English are essential as it’s the working language of the project.

⚖️ Values: Openness to cultural differences, commitment to peace, and a belief in inclusion and diversity.
