This European Solidarity Corps volunteering project in Portugal offers an opportunity to work with children and young people through creative activities, non-formal education, and community projects in the coastal town of Peniche.
Volunteers will support the activities of a local youth organisation that works with children aged 6โ12, young people, and the wider community through educational, cultural, and environmental initiatives.
The project combinesย youth work, intercultural learning, creativity, and community engagement, allowing volunteers to develop both personal and professional skills while experiencing everyday life in Portugal.

๐ About the Volunteering Project
During the project, volunteers will participate in activities organised by the youth centre and support programmes designed for children and young people.
They will contribute to creative workshops, intercultural activities, and educational programmes using non-formal education methods.
Volunteers are also encouraged to develop their own initiatives based on their passions and skills, such as photography, theatre, sports, drawing, or other creative activities.
This experience aims to promote European solidarity, intercultural exchange, and youth empowerment through practical community engagement.
