This ESC Individual Volunteering opportunity is hosted by Carpe Diem udruga za poticanje i razvoj kreativnih i socijalnih potencijala djece, mladih i odraslih in Karlovac, Croatia 🇭🇷. The project combines inclusion activities, youth center work, and youth information services, focusing on non-formal education, youth participation, creativity, and democratic engagement. Volunteers will actively support children and young people with fewer opportunities while contributing to youth empowerment and community life.

🧩 Volunteer Tasks
🤝 Organising inclusion workshops focused on soft skills and digital competences
🎨 Preparing and running creative, recycling, DIY, language and volunteering workshops
🏠 Supporting youth center activities based on community needs
🎥 Creating promotional and informational videos and podcasts
🗳️ Supporting youth participation in democratic processes and Eurodesk campaigns

🏠 Accommodation, Food and Transport
🏡 Fully equipped shared flat with two other volunteers
🛏️ Individual rooms for each volunteer
🍽️ Monthly food allowance provided
💶 Monthly pocket money according to the ESC Programme Guide for Croatia
🚌 Travel costs reimbursed according to the European Commission distance calculator

📘 Training and Support
🎓 Training on organising non-formal education activities and workshops
🧭 On-arrival training organised by the Croatian National Agency
📘 Mid-term training for long-term volunteers
