๐ Project Overview
This ESC Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Jerada, Morocco ๐ฒ๐ฆ, coordinated by Sinop Egitim Programlari ve Evrensel ve Kulturel Aktiviteler Dernegi in cooperation with Association ISSAAF JERADA โ Solidaritรฉ et Dรฉveloppement. The project focuses on psychosocial support, educational activities, and creative workshops for children, including those affected by the earthquake in the Al Haouz region. Volunteers will contribute to both preparation and implementation phases, combining planning, fieldwork, and direct engagement with children.

๐ก Shared apartments with other volunteers, individual rooms provided

๐ Pre-departure and on-arrival training
๐งญ Orientation on local context, culture, safety and working conditions
๐ Ongoing training and mentoring, especially during the first project phase

๐ฑ Aged 18โ35
โค๏ธ Motivated, compassionate and open-minded
๐ง Strong interest in education, community work, social work or child development
๐ Experience in teaching, facilitation or youth work is an advantage but not mandatory
๐ค Able to work in a team with respectful and clear communication
๐ Culturally sensitive and adaptable
