📌 Project Overview
This ESC Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Jerada, Morocco 🇲🇦, coordinated by Sinop Egitim Programlari ve Evrensel ve Kulturel Aktiviteler Dernegi in cooperation with Association ISSAAF JERADA – Solidarité et Développement. The project focuses on psychosocial support, educational activities, and creative workshops for children, including those affected by the earthquake in the Al Haouz region. Volunteers will contribute to both preparation and implementation phases, combining planning, fieldwork, and direct engagement with children.

🏠 Accommodation, Food and Transport
🏡 Shared apartments with other volunteers, individual rooms provided

🍽️ Food allowance: 10 EUR per day
💶 Pocket money: 500 EUR per month

🎓 Pre-departure and on-arrival training
🧭 Orientation on local context, culture, safety and working conditions
📚 Ongoing training and mentoring, especially during the first project phase

👤 Participant Profile
🌱 Aged 18–35
❤️ Motivated, compassionate and open-minded
👧 Strong interest in education, community work, social work or child development
🎓 Experience in teaching, facilitation or youth work is an advantage but not mandatory
🤝 Able to work in a team with respectful and clear communication
🌍 Culturally sensitive and adaptable
