🌱 About the Volunteering Opportunity
🏡 This European Solidarity Corps volunteering opportunity takes place at Ecovillage Torri Superiore in Ventimiglia western Liguria close to the French border
🌍 The project is coordinated by XENA Centro Scambi e Dinamiche Interculturali in cooperation with Ture Nirvane Società Cooperativa Sociale di Comunità
🤝 Volunteers live and work within a long-established community environment sharing daily life with residents guests and visitors from many countries

🛠️ Main Tasks and Daily Activities
🍽️ Sharing daily chores such as cooking cleaning and space care with residents and staff
🏠 Supporting non-profit activities of the ecovillage without replacing paid employment
🌞 Assisting with space care and food preparation especially during the busy summer period
🎥 Proposing intercultural activities related to your country films photos debates and presentations
🌱 Participating in various practical tasks depending on needs and personal interests including farming trail maintenance dry stone wall building and cooking for visitors and refugees

🏠 Accommodation and Practical Support
🏡 Accommodation inside the ecovillage in shared apartments with individual or shared bedrooms
🚿 Shared kitchen and bathroom facilities with other volunteers
🍽️ All meals provided by the cooperative at fixed times in the dining area
📚 Access to a library open wifi large meeting room and yoga room
🚌 Easy access to Ventimiglia through shared car rides or local bus connections

📘 Learning and Training During the Activity
🧠 Action learning approach combining theory practical instructions and hands-on experience
🤝 Support from ESC mentors tutors long-term residents and external experts
🌍 Exposure to sustainable living community organisation and intercultural cooperation
