About the Opportunity
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project is implemented by migration_miteinander e.V. within the Signal of Solidarity – nouranour initiative. The project focuses on women’s integration, intercultural exchange, social inclusion, and sustainable practices. The organisation works closely with refugee and immigrant women, supporting their professional, educational, and social participation while promoting upcycling and sustainable fashion.

What Will You Do?
🧵 Support refugee and immigrant women in finding language courses, training programmes, and first professional opportunities
👗 Take part in sewing, handicraft, and upcycling activities
📣 Support communication and social media activities of the organisation
🛍️ Assist in daily activities of the shop and learn basic shop management
🎪 Contribute to the organisation of workshops, events, and empowerment activities
💻 Support the development of an online shop (basic IT skills are an asset)

Accommodation & Practical Arrangements
🏠 Own bedroom in a shared apartment with other volunteers
💶 Pocket money for food
🚆 Monthly Deutschlandticket allowing travel throughout Germany

Training & Learning Opportunities
🛠️ Learning how to organise and manage workshops
👩‍💼 Hands-on experience in women’s empowerment and integration work
🧶 Practical knowledge about upcycling, sustainable fashion, and shop operations
🇩🇪 Support in finding a German language course

Participant Profile
🙋 Aged 18–30
🗣️ Good communication skills
🇩🇪 Basic German knowledge and strong motivation to learn and speak German
💻 Interest in IT or basic computer skills (an asset)
🌍 Interest in women’s empowerment, social inclusion, and intercultural work
🤝 Motivated, responsible, and open to working closely with refugee and immigrant women
