About the Opportunity
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project is implemented by AMICI DEL VILLAGGIO APS in Italy. The project focuses on improving the social well-being of children and teenagers with fewer opportunities, including those facing social disadvantages, minor disabilities, or learning difficulties. Volunteers will live and work within a community setting, supporting young people through education, creativity, daily life activities, and outdoor experiences in a beautiful natural environment.

What Will You Do?
๐ŸŽฒ Plan and take part in recreational activities such as games, music, sports, theatre, and creative workshops
๐ŸŽจ Design and deliver cultural, creative, and artistic activities
๐Ÿก Share daily life within the community by cooking together and supporting common house duties
๐Ÿ”๏ธ Organise outdoor activities in nature such as mountain walks, forest explorations, and open-air experiences
๐Ÿ“š Support children and teenagers with schoolwork, homework, and tutoring
๐Ÿค Provide social and emotional support to young people in fragile situations
๐ŸŒฑ Participate in activities at local educational farms

Accommodation & Practical Arrangements
๐Ÿ  Single bedroom (exceptionally double) with private bathroom
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Shared kitchen and common areas with options for independent or shared meals
๐Ÿก Accommodation may be in a shared apartment for ESC volunteers or within a community house
๐Ÿ’ถ Food allowance and pocket money according to EU guidelines
๐Ÿš— Transport for project activities provided by the organisation

Training & Support
๐Ÿงญ Continuous mentoring and supervision throughout the project
๐ŸŽ“ Task-related training adapted to volunteer responsibilities
๐Ÿ“˜ On-arrival and mid-term trainings organised according to National Agency schedules

Participant Profile
๐Ÿ™‹ Aged 18โ€“30
โค๏ธ Sensitive, empathetic, patient, and motivated to work with children and teenagers
๐Ÿก Willing to live and share daily life within a community setting
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Medium level of Italian required and strong motivation to improve
๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Knowledge of English required
๐ŸŒ Open-minded, flexible, and willing to support different tasks proposed by tutors and mentors
๐ŸŽฏ Interest in the social sector and inclusive community work
