๐ฑ Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Hammelburg, Bavaria, Germany ๐ฉ๐ช and focuses on early childhood education through an open and child-centred approach. Children decide freely how and where they want to play and learn, while educators and volunteers support, facilitate, and encourage their development. Volunteers become an active part of the kindergarten team and contribute with their own ideas, creativity, and personality.
๐ฏ Volunteering Activities
Volunteers will be involved in the daily life of the kindergarten, including:
๐ถ Communicating, playing, and interacting with children of different ages
๐ฒ Indoor play, morning circles, and group games
๐ณ Outdoor activities such as garden games, sandbox play, forest days, and excursions
๐จ Creative activities including handicrafts, singing, music, and gymnastics
๐ Supporting daily routines such as organising group rooms and shared spaces
๐ค Participating in planning meetings, team meetings, evaluations, and trainings
๐ก Proposing and implementing own activity ideas with full team support
๐ก Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ Single room in a shared volunteer flat (shared kitchen and bathroom)
๐ฝ๏ธ Monthly food allowance (333 โฌ)
๐ถ Monthly pocket money (210 โฌ)
๐ Monthly train ticket valid across Germany
๐ฃ๏ธ Weekly German language course
๐ก๏ธ Full insurance coverage
