🌱 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Gdynia, Poland 🇵🇱 and focuses on inclusive education, social integration, and creative learning. Volunteers support an alternative primary school environment where education is seen as a tool for social change, inclusion, and personal development, especially for children with special needs.

🎯 Volunteering Activities
Volunteers will work in small, supportive teams and be involved in:
🎲 Creating integration and energising games for children
🎨 Organising creative workshops and educational activities
👩‍🏫 Supporting teachers during classes
🤝 Working with children with special needs (e.g. autism, visual impairment, health-related challenges)
🌍 Teaching languages and intercultural activities
🎗️ Supporting charity events and community initiatives
All tasks are adapted to volunteers’ skills, interests, and creativity.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Community Life
🏠 Volunteers live in shared flats across different districts of Gdynia
🌍 Part of a large international ESC community of around 35 volunteers
🤝 Supported by local mentors and integrated into neighbourhood centres, libraries, NGOs, and youth spaces
🚍 Local transport and daily life organised within the volunteer community

🎓 Learning & Support
🧠 Daily learning through non-formal and inclusive education practice
🤝 Supervision by the school’s pedagogist
🌱 Strong focus on creativity, independence, patience, and innovative educational methods
