About the Youth Exchange
“Know Yourself, Change the Tale” is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that brings together young people to critically explore traditional stories, fairy tales, and narratives that shape how we see ourselves and society.
📚 Through non-formal education and experiential learning, participants will analyse archetypes, roles, and stereotypes in children’s literature and re-write stories to reflect more inclusive, diverse, and empowering narratives.

This project creates a safe and brave space where young people can explore identity, self-expression, and belonging—free from judgement, discrimination, or exclusion.

What Will You Do?
🧠 Analyse traditional stories and archetypes from different cultures
🎭 Question dominant narratives and stereotypes
✍️ Create new, inclusive stories together
💬 Strengthen self-awareness, communication & emotional well-being
🌍 Explore identity from an intercultural perspective
🤝 Co-create a supportive, non-judgmental group space

Who Can Apply?
👤 Young people aged 18–30
👥 Group Leaders: no age limit
🗣️ English level: able to express yourself & understand others
💡 Strong motivation and genuine interest in the topic
⚖️ Gender balance & fewer-opportunity backgrounds will be prioritised
