About the Opportunity
👥 This European Solidarity Corps – Individual Volunteering project is hosted by Dům dětí a mládeže České Budějovice in České Budějovice, Czech Republic 🇨🇿.
🎒 The project offers a hands-on introduction to youth work and leisure-time education, allowing volunteers to actively support children, young people, and activity leaders through sports, arts, events, and daily organisational tasks.

Main Activities
⚽ Supporting leisure-time activities for children and youth (including softball and other sports)
🎨 Assisting activity leaders during workshops, clubs, and courses
🎉 Helping with the organisation of events, competitions, and public activities
📋 Morning tasks focused on administration and organisation
📸 Supporting promotion and visibility: posters, Instagram posts, photos & videos
🌱 Helping with light renovation and garden work around the building
🎶 Possibility to contribute through arts & crafts, music, singing, or instruments

Training & Learning Opportunities
📘 Participation in On-Arrival and Mid-Term trainings organised by the National Agency
🌍 Access to EU online courses and learning seminars
🧠 Learning outcomes documented through Youthpass
🗣️ Language learning opportunities in English and Czech
💡 Development of digital skills, communication, teamwork, social & civic competences

Accommodation, Food & Transport
🏠 Accommodation provided close to the organisation or housing contribution offered
🍽️ Lunch available in the organisation’s canteen (5 minutes walking distance)
🚍 Excellent public transport system and bike-sharing in the city
🚗 Driving licence B preferred for activities outside the city

Participant Profile
👤 Young people interested in youth work (previous experience not required)
🤝 Open-minded, sociable, communicative, creative, and motivated to learn
🎭 Interest in arts, crafts, music, or creative activities is an advantage (not mandatory)
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Comfortable working in a team environment
