About the Opportunity
🌿 This European Solidarity Corps volunteering team project is hosted by GEN-Deutschland – Netzwerk für Gemeinschaften e.V. together with Siedlungsgenossenschaft Ökodorf e.G. at Sieben Linden Ecovillage in Beetzendorf, Germany 🇩🇪.
🤝 The project focuses on organic food production, community life, and sustainable living, offering a hands-on ecovillage experience rooted in ecology and cooperation.

What Will You Do?
🥕 Work daily in organic vegetable gardens growing over 50 types of vegetables, fruits, and herbs
🌱 Learn different cultivation techniques and use a variety of gardening tools
🌍 Support food production for the ecovillage community
🤲 Experience physical outdoor work connected to nature
🏡 Take part in community life, shared activities, and informal learning
🏐 Enjoy free-time activities such as sports, nature walks, and social gatherings

Training & Learning Experience
📘 At least one organised workshop per week
🌱 Practical learning on growing, harvesting, and sustainable food systems
🤝 Participation in community events and ecovillage activities
🧠 Informal learning through hands-on experience and teamwork

Who Can Apply?
👤 Aged 18–30
🌱 Strong interest in organic food, local food systems, and sustainability
🌍 Motivation to learn practical skills related to climate and biodiversity challenges
🤝 Willingness to live simply and participate in community life
⛺ Comfortable with outdoor living and camping

Accommodation, Food & Transport
⛺ Accommodation in your own tent (participants must bring camping equipment)

🚌 Easily reachable via Wolfsburg or Salzwedel using local public transport
