💼 About the Role:
The intern will assist the Debt and Financial Analysis Unit (DFAU) in advancing UNCTAD’s three main missions: research, consensus-building, and technical assistance — all focused on debt sustainability, development finance, and global economic resilience.

• 🧾 Assist in writing assessment reports on debt and finance.
• 🧮 Support the drafting of project proposals and budgets.
• 📊 Monitor progress of debt management projects across developing countries.
• 📚 Help prepare capacity-building course materials on debt and sustainable development.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria:

• Be currently enrolled in or have recently completed a graduate (Master’s or higher) or final-year undergraduate degree in Economics, Political Science, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Be fluent in English (French or another UN language is an advantage).
• Demonstrate a strong interest in international development and economic affairs.
• Be computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams).
• Show motivation, analytical thinking, and intercultural sensitivity.
