CLIC โ International House Mรกlaga ๐ช๐ธ is a well-known language school offering courses to students from all over the world. As an intern, you will contribute to the daily administration of a busy international education centre, support students, assist with reception tasks, and experience life in one of Spainโs most vibrant Mediterranean cities. This internship gives you the chance to gain hands-on experience in administration and customer service while improving your Spanish and meeting people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
๐งฉ Internship Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include welcoming new students every Monday and helping with check-in procedures, supporting weekly activity sales and handling inscriptions, distributing flyers or promotional materials when needed, creating course lists and entering reservations into the system, preparing transfer lists, and providing general support to the Director of Studies and the Accommodation Department. You will be available to answer student questions during breaks, assist with phone calls, direct inquiries to the correct staff members, and help feed the schoolโs social media channels. Working hours are 30โ40 hours per week and may include Sunday check-ins depending on arrivals.
๐ Accommodation, Food & Travel
The internship does not include financial compensation; however, during quieter periods, the school offers free Spanish lessons, giving you the chance to improve your language skills. You will be working in Mรกlaga ๐ช๐ธ, a coastal city known for its sunshine, culture, and international student community. Accommodation is not provided, but the school can offer guidance if needed. All other living costs such as transport and meals must be covered by the intern.

You will receive guidance and ongoing support from the schoolโs administrative staff and department coordinators. As part of the International House network, the organisation provides a professional environment where interns can develop administrative, communication, digital, and customer-service skills, all while gaining international experience in the education sector.
๐ค Candidate Profile
This internship is suitable for individuals who have a good command of English (B1) and Spanish (B1), enjoy interacting with international students, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced school environment. Ideal candidates are friendly, organised, proactive, flexible, and motivated to gain real experience in administration and reception duties.
