Would you like to make a meaningful difference in peopleโs lives while experiencing French culture? Join Les Petits Frรจres des Pauvres in Rennes, France, and help elderly people overcome loneliness and rediscover the joy of connection!
As part of this European Solidarity Corps project, youโll work alongside another European volunteer to support older adults through friendship, social activities, and digital empowerment workshops. Your goal is to help seniors feel included, confident, and connected to society again โ while growing your own intercultural and communication skills in a supportive, heartwarming environment.

๐ค Support 31 regional volunteer teams and help in coordination activities
๐ธ Share stories and experiences to raise awareness about inclusion
๐งญ Ideal Participant Profile
๐ Open-minded and empathetic, with a genuine interest in helping others
๐ฌ Able to communicate in basic French and motivated to improve language skills
๐ Enjoys teamwork but also comfortable with autonomy
๐ค Ready to engage in social interaction and learn from intergenerational exchanges
๐ Driving license is an asset (not mandatory)
๐ Accommodation, Food & Support
Youโll live in a youth workersโ residence in central Rennes with another ESC volunteer. The accommodation includes all basic amenities and easy access to the city and project offices.
Volunteers will receive 530โฌ/month to cover food and personal expenses and will be provided with health insurance. Youโll also take part in on-arrival and mid-term trainings by the French National Agency, as well as dedicated workshops organized throughout the year.
