📖 Project Description
The Port-Barbe Outdoor Center, run by Accoord in Nantes, offers nature-based educational activities in a protected Natura 2000 area with forests, riverbanks, and open plains.
As a volunteer, you will:
- 🌍 Support educational programs on sports, science & the environment
- 🎲 Create interactive learning tools to share European cultures & languages
- 🏕️ Help prepare and run international youth camps
- 🌱 Promote sustainability & biodiversity awareness among young people
This project is perfect for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working with children, and exploring nature’s richness.

🏠 Accommodation & Meals
- 🏡 Shared house with other ESC volunteers (shared bedrooms by gender)
- 🚲 Public transport pass & access to a bicycle included
- 🍴 Pocket money + food allowance (according to ESC budget)
- 📚 Free French language classes during the first two months
🎓 Training & Support
- 🧭 On-arrival & mid-term training by the Erasmus+ National Agency
- 🤝 Regular training & group gatherings organized by Maison de l’Europe à Nantes
- 🏅 Youthpass certificate recognizing your competences
