🌍 ABOUT THE PROJECT

Join Asociación Socio-Cultural Verdesur Alcalá for a short-term volunteering experience in Alcalá la Real! As a volunteer, you will be involved in a variety of educational and social activities to support children, young people, and the elderly. Your tasks will include:

✅ Conversation assistant at a local school for Physical Education, IT, and English subjects.
✅ Supporting school children with homework and educational games (in collaboration with the Red Cross).
✅ Organizing activities for the elderly with the Red Cross.
✅ Assisting in the dining rooms of both a retirement center and a local primary school (SAFA).
✅ Helping with the association’s events and activities.
✅ Spanish language classes to improve communication skills.

🏠 ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRANSPORT

🔹 Shared accommodation in double rooms with 15-20 international volunteers.
🔹 Fully equipped house with Wi-Fi, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, heating & cooling.
🔹 Monthly food allowance: €180.
🔹 Travel costs covered based on the program rules.
🔹 No transport arrangement (everything is within walking distance).

📌 On-arrival training (if organized by the Spanish National Agency).
📌 Spanish language courses provided.
📌 Participation in local training and workshops by Verdesur.

👤 PARTICIPANT PROFILE

🔸 Open to applicants ONLY from Czech Republic 🇨🇿.
🔸 Eager to work with children, young people, and the elderly.
🔸 No special skills required, but enthusiasm for social work is a plus.
🔸 Basic English skills preferred; Spanish knowledge is an advantage.
