๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท ESC Volunteering in France ๐Ÿ”๏ธ Sport, Culture & Solidarity at an Asylum Seekers Centre ๐Ÿค

The French Alps, a centre built around human dignity, and a volunteer role that puts you right in the middle of real intercultural work โ€” this ESC placement in France is for someone who wants more than a feel-good experience. It is for someone ready to show up, every day, for people who need it most.

FOL 74 hosts this ESC placement at Le Nid โ€” an Asylum Seekers Centre (CADA) in the French Alps. The work spans socio-cultural activities, sport, environmental projects, and direct support for refugees, asylum seekers, and unaccompanied foreign minors. French is the working language of the entire project, so a genuine desire to use and improve your French is essential.

What Is This Role About?

Le Nid is not a passive setting. As a volunteer, you will be co-creating activities, facilitating workshops, organising outings, and working alongside the residents of the centre in a way that treats them as active participants โ€” not recipients. The role is divided across three main areas of activity.
