Bergolo is a tiny village in the hills of Piedmont. No big city noise, no tourist crowds โ just nature, a tight-knit group of young volunteers, and a month of learning by actually doing things. If that sounds like your kind of summer, read on.
Vagamondo is bringing together 15 young people aged 18 to 30 for their ninth edition of Volunteering Summer Fest โ a group ESC volunteering experience rooted in the rural landscape of Alta Langa, Piedmont. This is a hands-on, community-centred programme where participants learn practical skills while contributing to the local area and living together as a team.
What Is This Role About?
This is a group volunteering placement โ meaning you will be working and living alongside other young volunteers from across Europe and beyond. The activities are practical, varied, and embedded in the rhythms of rural life. You will be caring for green spaces, cooking together, helping with renovation works, and supporting the organisation of local festivals.
The setting is Bergolo โ a small village surrounded by the natural beauty of the Langhe hills. Life here is slow in the best possible way, and the experience is designed to help you develop real competences while genuinely contributing to the community around you.
