🌍 About the Project

Irida Women’s Center is a welcoming community center that supports women from all nationalities and backgrounds through workshops, seminars, focus groups, and creative activities.

🌟 Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations at the Women’s Center.
• Assist in the Child-Friendly Space (CFS):
  • Care for children aged 1–6 years old.
  • Create age-appropriate activities based on their interests.
  • Work in a team of 2 to manage up to 6–7 children.
  • Report issues, concerns, or ideas to the CFS lead.

🛋 Accommodation, Food, and Transport

🏠 Accommodation:

• Fully equipped building in Thessaloniki’s city center.
• Shared rooms (1–4 people per room) with access to communal kitchens, showers, and a terrace.

🍴 Food:

• Meals provided Monday–Friday through a catering service.

🚍 Transport:

• City bus transport card included.

📚 Training and Support

• Task-specific training for your role at Irida.
• On-arrival and mid-term training by the Greek National Agency.

👥 Participant Profile

We’re looking for enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers who:

• Are 18–30 years old.
• Speak English or Greek at a good communication level.
• Enjoy working with young children (1–5 years old).
• Are reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience or education in working with children is a plus.
• French language knowledge is an advantage.

Commitment: 5 days/week, 4–6 hours daily (schedule flexible).
