🌍 About the Internship

This paid English Teaching Internship takes place in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), Spain, offering participants the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience in a professional language academy environment.

The academy has more than 12 years of experience hosting international interns and provides a supportive environment where participants learn how to teach English effectively while living in southern Spain. The internship focuses on developing the practical skills required to become a confident EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher.

Interns will work with children and teenagers and receive continuous mentoring, observation and professional training throughout the programme.

🧑‍🏫 Internship Tasks

📚 Teach English lessons to children and teenagers aged 2–18 years
📝 Assist with lesson preparation and course planning
🎨 Create classroom resources such as flashcards, posters and learning materials
📊 Contribute to student assessment reports and provide feedback on progress
👀 Observe classes to learn classroom management techniques
🎲 Use games, pair work activities and interactive exercises to make lessons engaging
📖 Improve knowledge of English grammar and teaching methodologies
🎓 Support preparation for Cambridge English exams
🤝 Receive supervision and mentoring from academic coordinators

🎓 Training and Support

📚 Full teaching training at the start of the internship
👩‍🏫 Continuous mentoring and monitoring from heads of studies
🧑‍🏫 Practical experience teaching in modern, well-equipped academies
