๐ About the Internship
This paid English Teaching Internship takes place in Jerez de la Frontera (Cรกdiz), Spain, offering participants the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience in a professional language academy environment.
The academy has more than 12 years of experience hosting international interns and provides a supportive environment where participants learn how to teach English effectively while living in southern Spain. The internship focuses on developing the practical skills required to become a confident EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher.
Interns will work with children and teenagers and receive continuous mentoring, observation and professional training throughout the programme.
๐งโ๐ซ Internship Tasks
๐ Teach English lessons to children and teenagers aged 2โ18 years
๐ Assist with lesson preparation and course planning
๐จ Create classroom resources such as flashcards, posters and learning materials
๐ Contribute to student assessment reports and provide feedback on progress
๐ Observe classes to learn classroom management techniques
๐ฒ Use games, pair work activities and interactive exercises to make lessons engaging
๐ Improve knowledge of English grammar and teaching methodologies
๐ Support preparation for Cambridge English exams
๐ค Receive supervision and mentoring from academic coordinators
๐ Training and Support
๐ Full teaching training at the start of the internship
๐ฉโ๐ซ Continuous mentoring and monitoring from heads of studies
๐งโ๐ซ Practical experience teaching in modern, well-equipped academies
