🧭 Internship Overview
The United Nations Resident Coordinator System (RCO) in China is offering a full-time, in-person Partnership Internship in Beijing. This role supports the development of public-private partnerships aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2026–2030) and China’s transition toward high-quality, green, and inclusive development in line with the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.

🎯 Main Responsibilities
🤝 Support the organisation of major UN events, including logistics, briefings, and speeches
📄 Prepare briefing notes, presentations, background documents, and policy materials related to China’s development priorities
🏛️ Assist in organising and following up inter-agency and high-level meetings attended by UN leadership
🌐 Support incoming high-level UN delegations with both logistical and substantive assistance
📊 Contribute to partnership development relevant to the new UN Cooperation Framework in China

🎓 Eligibility & Academic Background
Applicants must meet one of the following:
🎓 Enrolled in or completed a graduate programme
🎓 Enrolled in or completed the final year of a bachelor’s degree

Fields of study should be relevant, such as international relations, public policy, development studies, economics, political science, or related disciplines.

💻 Skills & Competencies
🖥️ Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
📊 Analytical thinking and ability to work independently
🤝 Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
📝 Ability to draft documents and design surveys is an asset

🗣️ Language Requirements
English required
Chinese is an advantage
French is an asset
