The United Nations Resident Coordinator System (RCO) in China is offering a full-time, in-person Partnership Internship in Beijing. This role supports the development of public-private partnerships aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2026โ€“2030) and Chinaโ€™s transition toward high-quality, green, and inclusive development in line with the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.

๐ŸŽฏ Main Responsibilities
๐Ÿค Support the organisation of major UN events, including logistics, briefings, and speeches
๐Ÿ“„ Prepare briefing notes, presentations, background documents, and policy materials related to Chinaโ€™s development priorities
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Assist in organising and following up inter-agency and high-level meetings attended by UN leadership
๐ŸŒ Support incoming high-level UN delegations with both logistical and substantive assistance
๐Ÿ“Š Contribute to partnership development relevant to the new UN Cooperation Framework in China

๐ŸŽ“ Eligibility & Academic Background
Applicants must meet one of the following:
๐ŸŽ“ Enrolled in or completed a graduate programme
๐ŸŽ“ Enrolled in or completed the final year of a bachelorโ€™s degree

Fields of study should be relevant, such as international relations, public policy, development studies, economics, political science, or related disciplines.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
๐Ÿ“Š Analytical thinking and ability to work independently
๐Ÿค Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
๐Ÿ“ Ability to draft documents and design surveys is an asset

English required
Chinese is an advantage
French is an asset
