The United Nations Resident Coordinator System (RCO) in China is offering a full-time, in-person Partnership Internship in Beijing. This role supports the development of public-private partnerships aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2026โ2030) and Chinaโs transition toward high-quality, green, and inclusive development in line with the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.

๐ฏ Main Responsibilities
๐ค Support the organisation of major UN events, including logistics, briefings, and speeches
๐ Prepare briefing notes, presentations, background documents, and policy materials related to Chinaโs development priorities
๐๏ธ Assist in organising and following up inter-agency and high-level meetings attended by UN leadership
๐ Support incoming high-level UN delegations with both logistical and substantive assistance
๐ Contribute to partnership development relevant to the new UN Cooperation Framework in China
๐ Eligibility & Academic Background
Applicants must meet one of the following:
๐ Enrolled in or completed a graduate programme
๐ Enrolled in or completed the final year of a bachelorโs degree
Fields of study should be relevant, such as international relations, public policy, development studies, economics, political science, or related disciplines.
๐ป Skills & Competencies
๐ฅ๏ธ Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
๐ Analytical thinking and ability to work independently
๐ค Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
๐ Ability to draft documents and design surveys is an asset
๐ฃ๏ธ Language Requirements
English required
Chinese is an advantage
French is an asset
