🧭 Main Duties & Responsibilities
📰 Support the production of UN news and feature stories in Chinese
✍️ Assist with editing, drafting, and preparing content for multimedia platforms
🎙️ Contribute to radio, video, photo, and web-based news content
📊 Support newsroom tasks related to research, coordination, and content preparation
🤝 Work closely with editors and media professionals in a multilingual UN newsroom

🎓 Qualifications & Eligibility
✔️ Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
– Enrolled in or completed a Master’s or PhD programme, or
– Enrolled in or completed the final year of a Bachelor’s degree, or
– Completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme
✔️ Field of study must be closely related to the internship (journalism, media, communication, languages, international relations, or similar)
✔️ No professional work experience required
✔️ Strong computer skills, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams
✔️ Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality outputs
✔️ Proof of academic status will be required (official certificate at a later stage)

🌐 Languages
🗣️ Fluency in English and Chinese is required
➕ Knowledge of another UN official language is an asset
(Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish)

✈️ Interns who are not US citizens or permanent residents may need a G-4 visa
