๐ About the Opportunity
This ESC volunteering opportunity takes place at Helenรณw Rehabilitation, Education and Care Centre in Warsaw ๐ต๐ฑ, a well-known institution supporting children, youth and adults with disabilities. The centre specialises in therapy for children with Central Nervous System dysfunctions and provides comprehensive support such as hippotherapy, physiotherapy, art therapy, music therapy and educational programmes. Volunteers play a meaningful role in helping therapists, supporting daily activities and assisting with hippotherapy sessions that have been running for over 20 years.

๐ด๐ Main Activities
Volunteers support educators and therapists through:
โจ Assisting during hippotherapy sessions (walking with horses, supporting therapists, helping lead horses)
๐ด Caring for horses, basic stable duties and maintaining animal well-being
๐จ Supporting creative therapies such as art therapy, music therapy and recreational activities
๐ฆ Assisting in kindergartens, schools and youth units
๐ฟ Helping with outdoor activities, integration games and educational tasks
๐ค Being a positive presence for children and young people with disabilities

๐ก Accommodation, Food & Transport
Accommodation and financial conditions include:
๐ Shared flat located on the host organisation premises
๐๏ธ Room may be shared with another volunteer (same gender)
๐ฅ Food allowance: 150 EUR/month (self-cooking)
๐ธ Pocket money: 180 EUR/month
๐ฃ๏ธ Language learning: Polish via OLS online platform
๐ Local transport: Full Warsaw public transport pass
โ๏ธ International travel reimbursement: 211โ395 EUR depending on distance (higher for green travel)

๐ Training & Learning
Volunteers benefit from multiple training opportunities:
๐ Orientation training (coordinator): introduction, integration and project overview
๐ On-arrival training with National Agency (5 days)
๐ Mid-term evaluation training (5 days)
๐ Final evaluation with coordinating organisation
๐ Intercultural education, communication, cultural adaptation workshops every two months
