Step into the heart of Frankfurt-am-Main ๐ฉ๐ช and join one of Europeโs most unique artistic and environmental movements โ the Winterwerft Theatre Festival, an international physical theatre celebration dedicated to climate change, environmental crisis awareness, creativity, performance arts, and community living.
This fully immersive ESC volunteering experience brings together performers, creatives, activists and young Europeans to โTurn the Tideโ and reconnect humans with nature through artistic expression, collective work, and cultural exchange.
Volunteers become part of the festival community, helping build festival spaces, supporting daily operations, cooking for the team, maintaining common areas, and participating in artistic and social activities. Living and working together creates an unforgettable experience shaped by teamwork, creativity, and cultural diversity.

Volunteers help prepare the festival site between 26โ30 January, after which the two-week festival unfolds through weekends filled with performances, workshops, theatre labs, concerts, and environmental discussions.
