💡 About the Project:
Join the Caretta Caretta Monitoring and Protection Project to protect endangered sea turtles during their nesting and hatchling season! Your main activities will include:
🐢 Observing the coastline and marking potential nests.
🌿 Cleaning beaches and preserving the natural habitat.
📣 Organizing campaigns and workshops to raise awareness of the importance of sea turtles.
🎥 Creating content (videos, photos) to share the project’s impact on social media.
🩺 Assisting with treatment for injured turtles.
🏠 What’s Provided?
✔️ Accommodation: Modern apartments with shared rooms (2 volunteers per room), equipped with AC, Wi-Fi, washing machines, and kitchens.
✔️ Food: Allowance provided to prepare your own meals.
✔️ Transportation: Daily commute to project sites with the Caretta Bus.
✔️ Free Time: Explore Demre, learn new skills, or initiate personal projects during your free time.
📚 Training & Schedule:
- Working Hours:
🕓 Morning: 4:00 AM – 9:00 AM
🕕 Evening: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM - Rest Days: 2 days off per week, plus an additional 2 off days each month.
