“Borders:none” is an organization based in Zagreb, Croatia, that works with refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in lower socio-economic status. They are seeking a volunteer to assist in organizing various activities for their beneficiaries.
These activities include inclusion and leisure activities, workshops, events for young people, supporting refugees in job seeking activities, and working directly with beneficiaries. The volunteer will receive accommodation, monthly allowance, public transport, language support, health insurance coverage, and potential visa and residence permit cost coverage.
Training will be provided by the Croatian National Agency and the supporting organization. The ideal participant should be interested in refugee/migrant issues, comfortable working with people, sociable, curious about other cultures, and willing to take on challenging tasks.
The volunteering period is 20 weeks from 11/09/2023 to 30/01/2024.
The activity will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, and participants from various European countries are eligible.
The application deadline is 08/09/2023.
The activity focuses on social challenges, reception and integration of refugees and migrants, and education and training.
