This European Solidarity Corps volunteering opportunity in Bremen, Germany 🇩🇪, coordinated by NaturKultur Bremen e.V., invites you to support meaningful leisure-time activities for people with disabilities at Freizeitzentrum Friedehorst. The centre offers creative, social, and community-based activities for residents with diverse abilities, and volunteers play an essential role by bringing energy, ideas, and compassion into the daily environment.

🎭 What You Will Do

As a volunteer, you will contribute actively to a wide range of activities, including:

• 😊 Working with children, teenagers, adults, and people with physical disabilities
• 🎨 Providing small creative, educational, or recreational activities
• 💡 Developing and running your own project ideas
• 🤝 Supporting Friedehorst staff during events and workshops
• 🎉 Co-organising community events together with other ESC volunteers
  Your involvement helps create joy, inclusion, and meaningful interaction for the residents of Friedehorst.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Benefits

You will be fully supported throughout the experience:

• 🏠 Accommodation in a shared volunteer house/flat in Bremen (private room)
• 🍽️ Monthly support: 290€ pocket money + 210€ food allowance
• 🧾 Travel reimbursement (approx. 211–395€ depending on distance)
• 🩺 Full ESC health insurance
• 🚌 Access to public transport and city facilities
  NaturKultur Bremen e.V. oversees all logistics to ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.

🎓 Training & Mentoring

Your learning journey will include:

• 🧭 Weekly mentor meetings at the beginning
• 🇩🇪 On-arrival and mid-term trainings with all ESC volunteers in Germany
• 🤝 Additional training sessions organised by NaturKultur e.V.
  Through hands-on practice, you’ll gain teamwork, communication, project planning, and educational activity experience.
