Take part in a dynamic volunteering experience at Roter Baum Berlin, working in the Mobile Youth Center (MAHE)— a creative hub on wheels that brings youth activities to local communities and international cooperation projects. 🚐✨
As a volunteer, you’ll help organise and deliver fun, inclusive, and educational workshops designed to empower young people through creativity, sports, crafts, cooking, and social learning.

💡 What You’ll Do
- 🧑🎨 Organise creative and artistic workshops (crafts, painting, design)
- ⚽ Lead sports and outdoor activities for kids and teens
- 🍳 Support cooking and life-skill sessions in the mobile youth centre
- 🧠 Participate in educational and intercultural learning workshops
- 🤝 Build trust and meaningful connections with young people in the community
- 🌍 Contribute to international youth cooperation and project development
Through these experiences, you’ll develop teamwork, adaptability, and leadership skills — and gain valuable insight into how youth organisations work on the ground.
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Allowance
- Private bedroom in a shared apartment near the project site

🎓 Training & Support
- Access to Online Linguistic Support (OLS) for German language learning
- Option to attend two in-person German language courses during the year
- Participation in On-arrival and Mid-term trainings organised by the German National Agency
- Continuous guidance and mentorship from Roter Baum Berlin staff
- Regular reflection meetings and personal support throughout the activity
👤 Who Can Apply
We are looking for motivated and adaptable volunteers (aged 18–30) who are:
- Interested in youth work, creativity, and community development
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Open to learning about project management and social engagement
- Flexible with working hours (afternoon activities are common)
- Skilled in English (basic German appreciated)
- Curious, creative, and ready to grow in an intercultural environment
Experience in sports, design, or creative work is welcome but not required — enthusiasm and initiative are what matter most!
