About the Program

Get ready to experience an unforgettable journey of learning, culture, and exploration at one of China’s most prestigious universities! 🇨🇳
The University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) invites international students to join the USTC Winter Camp 2025, offering a unique combination of academic excellence, cultural immersion, and hands-on experience.

Participants will attend expert lectures, Chinese language lessons, and national laboratory tours, while exploring the vibrant local lifestyle of Hefei — a dynamic, fast-growing Chinese city.

This fully funded program provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain global exposure, develop academic and intercultural skills, and experience the beauty and traditions of Chinese culture.

Courses & Activities 📚

• 🏫 Basic Chinese language lessons
• 🧬 Academic lectures by USTC professors and researchers
• 🔬 National lab tours and hands-on scientific practice
• 🏮 Cultural visits to explore Chinese heritage, cuisine, and traditions

Duration & Location 📅

• Dates: 22–31 December 2025
• Place: Hefei, China 🇨🇳

Eligibility 👥

• Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport
• Undergraduate or Master’s level students (or recent graduates)
• Good command of English
• In good physical and mental health
• Applicants who previously joined a USTC Winter or Summer Camp are not eligible

Program Fee 💰

• Full program fee: 3,000 CNY
  Includes: tuition, accommodation (twin room), and field trips
  Not included: travel expenses and insurance

Scholarship Opportunities 🎓

Outstanding candidates may receive the USTC Fellowship, which can fully or partially cover:
